Sea of love

A few weeks before Valentine's Day I found a cute blog post about a girl who for father day made her dad a bunch of felt hearts and hid them around the house where he'd find them. So as I was alone for a few weeks I decided to do something similar for the love in my life. I also added a felt post card and a vase for collection. Surprisingly, Mark didn't think it was dorky and lame and was so excited every time he found a new heart that day. Also, I think he was surprised I knew twenty places around the house he looks everyday. 

 

Mark had gotten home the night before from a being away and in and out of the hospital for a few days so it made the day a little extra special. 

Speaking of separations... 

When Mark left me to come to Italy I had a ton of extra time on my hands and I missed him so, of course, I did a lot of Pinterest searching and found this idea and made it. It was super fun so make and I didn't even have a terrible time think of 52 reasons! We must be newlyweds!

Anyway I just came across these pictures and realized I hadn't posted them yet. I thought they were fitting for a Valentine's post though.
